Stay on the work. Let the admin get smaller.

Most owners around here are good at the thing they sell. The week disappears into handwritten notes, lists that live in two places, and books that only get a turn after the shop is closed.

Newman Ops sits on the real screen, maps the process, and repairs one workflow at a time in the tools you already pay for.

Work

One workflow. Then stop adding.

Every job starts small: fix the process that hurts most, make sure you can run it, then decide whether there is a next one.

Work orderNo. 01

Diagnosis

60–90 minutes on your live files. You leave with a map of how the work runs today, a map of how it should run, and a blueprint you can use yourselves or hand to us. Building is not included.

$500–$1,000 · credited if we do the fix

Work orderNo. 02

Workflow fix

One painful process, repaired in the tools you already pay for. Cleaned-up files, a short how-to, and two weeks of close follow-up after it goes live. No new platform. No website rebuild.

Scoped after Diagnosis · 3–6 weeks

Keep it working

Optional. A monthly review and small fixes once the first workflow is stable. Stop when you are running it without us.

How a job runs

  1. Walk the real process

On your screen, with the real files. You talk it through. We write it down.

  2. One home per fact

If a number lives in two places, we pick one and stop feeding the copy.

  3. Cut, then tool

Fewer steps first. New software last, and only if it earns its keep.

  4. Draft, then send

Nothing goes to a customer or moves inventory until you have reviewed it.

The job is finished when you can run it without us in the file.

Good first jobs
  • Quoting when a price is not on the shelf
  • Inventory when the shelf and the screen disagree
  • Orders that arrive by phone, cart, and text
  • Work that piles up after close
What we usually decline
  • Open-ended “make us more AI”
  • A full ERP or website replacement
  • A job with no named person to run the result
  • A dashboard across two messy businesses before one workflow is clean

About

Based here. Close to the work.

Home is Longview. The work before this was healthcare, where a wrong number does not stay on a spreadsheet. Several systems, a strict rulebook, and a result that lands twice: on what the hospital can collect, and on the patient waiting for an answer.

The later work was that problem across a lot of hospitals. Each had its own system and its own way of working. The job was to sit with the people doing the work, find the break, and get to one version of the fact.

Newman Ops brings that here. A shop has fewer systems and one owner. The miss is the same kind: a number in three places, a handoff nobody owns, the books waiting until close. We map how the week really moves and repair one workflow at a time, in the tools you already pay for.

Questions

Straight answers.

If yours isn't here, ask it in the form below.

Do I have to buy new software?

Usually not. Most fixes happen in what you already pay for. If something new is worth buying, we will say why and what it replaces.

What kind of tools do you use?

Whatever fits the problem. Cleaner files, a better template, a simple form, a few hand-offs so the same number is not typed twice. Sometimes that includes AI when it is the simplest thing that works. Often it does not.

What do I need for the first meeting?

The live file. Spreadsheet, ordering screen, quote pad. Sixty to ninety minutes on the real thing.

What if I only want the plan?

That is Diagnosis. You keep the maps and the blueprint either way.

Where do you work?

In person in Longview and around East Texas. If you are farther out, ask.

Contact

Bring the live file. Not a slide deck.

The first reply is a short conversation to see if it fits. Diagnosis is the paid 60–90 minutes on the live files. You leave with the maps and the blueprint. That fee is credited if we do the fix.

Have the spreadsheet, the ordering screen, or the quote template open.
